About Door County Property Management

Door County Property Management was founded in 2005 by Chad Kodanko and Andy Isaacson based on a recognized need for full service property management in Door County.  The two began the foundations of DCPM during the fall of 2003 while attending classes in the MBA program at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Both Chad and Andy have a family history in Door County dating back five generations and have created this business as a way for them to continue their family traditions in a place that has so much meaning to them both. 

Over the last five years of managing vacation rentals, Door County Property Management's commitment to being the best property management company in Door County has allowed it to grow from managing its first, small cabin to now managing approximately 50 rentals which now include some of the finest homes in all of Door County.  With picking up most of the market share for vacation rental management since it opened its doors, DCPM quickly learned that its simple business model of better service at a lower cost not only worked, but has forced the company to move away from other avenues of property management to only focus on vacation rental management in 2010. 

In 2009 DCPM added Lesley Anschutz as a full-time, year-around office manager.  Lesley works alongside Chad and Andy in assisting in most aspects of vacation rental management.  She also heads up an in-house cleaning staff that swells to as many as twelve during the peak times of the summer.  Cleaning is a vital aspect of our business in servicing our vacation rentals; however, we approach this as a non-revenue driver of our company.  We provide cleaning for our clients only, and do not run a profit minded cleaning business as part of our company.  Each rental by our guests includes linens, towels, start-up supplies, and cleaning within the cost of the rental.  Thus, ones vacation is truly a hassle free vacation.

DCPM’s goal is not to become the biggest vacation rental management company in Door County.  We strive to have the best rentals and best owners, not the most.  We will never lose sight on the fact that you, the property owner, allow us to manage your private home.  We will never set limits on when or for how long you choose to use your home for your personal or family enjoyment.
