The sunsets don't get much better in Door County than at  Beach Road nor do the views of Chamber Island, Horseshoe Island and Peninsula State Park.  Located on one of the most desirable roads on the Peninsula, the home has all you need for a great vacation.  The 5 bedroom home has over 200 feet of Green Bay frontage and one of the largest private docks in the area---a great place to tie up your boat, catch a bass or  sit and watch a sunset.  The home, built in 1922, has a large great room with a huge working fireplace from which you can enjoy meals overlooking the bay.  An eating nook off of the kitchen allows you to view both the water and the humningbirds feeding out the window.The home has a large front lawn for games and sports and a tennis court in the rear of the house that is shared with the neighboring house. Three of the five bedrooms have views of the water.

Floor Plan Description

The entrance to the home is up 5 steps from ground level; you’ll enter into the mud room of the home; this room also has the access to the basement, where the washer and dryer are located.  From the mud room you come into the kitchen, which is situated to your right.  Through the far right end of the kitchen is a breakfast room with a water view.  Straight ahead is the entrance to the great room, which has a seating area and dining area, a large stone fireplace on the road side of the house, and a beautiful lake view on the other side.  To the right is an entrance to a full bath, which is also attached to the main floor’s king bedroom (also has an entrance to the great room) and the stairway.   On the far left side of the great room is the entrance to the main floor queen bedroom, which also has a sleeper sofa and a private full bathroom.  There is an entrance to the screened in porch on the left side of the great room on the lakeside of the house.  Go upstairs and you enter into a hallway; the upstairs full bath is behind you to the left & down three steps.  Also off this hallway is a bedroom with two double beds, a bedroom with two twin beds, and a bedroom with two twin beds and a crib.
