The Gibraltar Lodge is an owner designed and built home just a short walk from the village of Fish Creek.  This custom home has 9 foot ceilings throughout the main level, Hickory hardwood floors in the dining/great room and Pine flooring in the loft/TV area.  The home is constructed with posts/beams, staircase, loft railings, risers, and treads from custom milled Doug Fir from an aged barn. The home has a great two sided stone gas fireplace located between the kitchen and the great room.  The Kitchen is furnished with a 42” side by side Viking refrigerator, ultra quiet Bosch dishwasher, and a Kitchen Aid gas range.  The Queen bedroom has nautical theme construction with cedar beams/trim and wood paneling throughout the custom galley with refrigerator and sink, bathroom counter, and shower.  Both the master and queen bedrooms have TV’s as well.  The outside of the home is landscaped with natural flagstone and groomed paths in the back of the property to fire pit and trail to convenience gas station and Peninsula State Park trails.

Floor Plan Description

You’ll go up three steps to the front porch with a neat built in bench.  Two entrances to the house are located here; to the left, a side door to the kitchen, and directly ahead, the front door to the great room.  Stairs to the loft are immediately to your right.  The great room spans the length of the house; there is a door to the back deck at the far side of the room.  The large stone fireplace is situated with the great room on one side and the dining room (table for six) and kitchen on the other.  Between the kitchen and its entrance to the front porch, there is a mud room with washer & dryer.  On the opposite side of the house (to your right from the front door), there is a hallway to access the office with twin trundle, a full bathroom, and the bedroom with two twin beds (has own access to full bathroom).  Upstairs, the loft, open on two sides, has a futon.  The master bedroom is upstairs, with a private master bathroom with Jacuzzi tub and additional shower stall.  On the other side of the loft, there is a bedroom with queen bed with its own refrigerator and sink, and private bathroom with shower stall.
