Appleport Breeze is a luxurious secluded home that was built in 1994 and completely remodeled in 2005. With spectacular views and breezes this is the ultimate private getaway location. Appleport Breeze is secluded yet only a 5 minute drive to Sister Bay.

The home is situated on the Lake Michigan shore with expansive views of the lake and Newport State Park in the distance. Sunrises over the water are an incredible sight. The house was built with the view in mind so that most rooms enjoy a view of the lake. The 2.2 acre property is densely covered in cedar trees that provide ample privacy. A long winding paved driveway courses through the cedars accentuating the feeling that this is a true getaway.

Appleport Breeze is centrally air-conditioned and features four well-appointed bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. 2 of the bathrooms have marble flooring and counters with the master bathroom also providing in floor heat. The luxurious kitchen contains a gas range with convection oven, a large island with seating, granite counters, a spacious refrigerator, microwave, dish washer, and coffee maker.  A dining area adjacent to the kitchen is furnished with a table that provides seating for 10 along with views of the lake.  The great room has expansive views of the lake and features a gas fireplace. A den adjacent to the great room has a high definition flat-screen TV and a premium sound system for movies as well as satellite TV. The fireplace opens up to this room as well. There is a laundry room with a washer and dryer. 

Sleeping accommodations include a master suite and 2 other bedrooms upstairs, all with a queen bed. A main level bedroom features a king bed. There is also a bonus room off of the master bedroom above the garage that is furnished with 2 twin beds for additional sleeping space.

Of additional interest is the huge deck overlooking the lake, a gas grill on the deck for barbecuing, and a large back yard for lawn games.  The beach is rocky and shallow so water shoes or sandals are highly recommended for walks and swimming. A sand beach is located within minutes of the property just to the north or just a bit further in Sister Bay or Baileys Harbor.

Appleport Breeze is also located only minutes away from great restaurants, shopping, golfing, go-karting, kayaking, and sailing. The towns of Fish Creek, Ephraim, Sister Bay, Bailey’s Harbor, and Ellison Bay are all within a short drive.

Appleport Sunrise is a charming, cozy, and comfortably furnished two-bedroom, one-bath seasonal cottage on the shore of Lake Michigan that affords spectacular views and a quiet retreat.  Located at 10372 South Appleport Lane, just a few minutes east of Sister Bay, and on Rowley’s Bay, the cabin’s open floor plan (kitchen-dining-great room) also features a deck overlooking the lake, a stone wood-burning fireplace, and ceiling fan.  The kitchen is fully equipped with electric stove, refrigerator, and microwave.  The great room provides satellite TV, VCR player, games, puzzles and books.  A day bed provides another sleeping spot. 

The guest bedroom has two twin beds with new mattresses Spring 2007.  The bathroom is newly remodeled (Spring 2007), and there are new windows throughout (Spring 2007).

A charcoal grill, located in the attached shed, can be easily moved to the concrete patio outside the kitchen.  The fire pit overlooking the lake is the perfect place for grilling hot dogs and marshmallows, or warming up on chilly evenings.

We're sure you will enjoy your stay at the newly remodeled and freshly painted Appletree Cottage.  The Cottage sits on an acre of woods and orchard, having once been a part of the historic Driftwood Farms property.  It has a fully appointed kitchen, with all of the comforts of home, while vaulted and cathedral ceilings give the space a quaint, vacation feel.  Lots of windows make the Cottage bright while capturing the views of the woods, and front and rear decks give you room to spread out and enjoy the outdoors.

The Cottage sits across the road from The Clearing and is within walking distance to  restaurants and shopping.  An excellent boat/kayak launch is just a short drive away, and the Garrett Bay Road area offers first class biking.  Two bikes are include for your use.  A public beach on the waters of Green Bay is nearby in Ellison Bay and Newport State park, Door Bluff Headlands and Ellison Bluff park are all just minutes away.  Appletree Cottage is the perfect place to spend your Door County  getaway.

This beautiful stone retreat was built in 2002 and is surrounded by two acres of birch, cedar and pine trees. This home will comfortably accommodate 2-3 families. A long, winding drive through the woods leads to the home which is on Green Bay. Magnificent sunsets over the bay can be seen from the dock, stone patio, great room and eating area.

The master bedroom is situated on the north end of the ground floor and has water views, satellite t.v., whirlpool bath, large walk in shower, and his and hers sinks. There is also a guest room on the ground floor with an adjacent bathroom with shower.

The great room has floor to ceiling windows facing the bay, a floor to ceiling stone fireplace and satellite t.v./dvd/vhs. The gourmet kitchen and eating area seats 10 and also faces the bay. Enjoy your meals at a very large, antique mahogany table. The ground floor also has a full laundry room.

The second floor contains three more bedrooms. The largest, the bonus room, has four twin beds and two kiddie mattresses that can be spread on the floor. It also contains assorted kid movies, board games, a game table and a small dvd player for kid movies. A second bedroom contains a hand crafted western bunk bed set and this room also overlooks the bay. The final upstairs bedroom has two twin beds and a crib. There is a two chamber upstairs bath with the shower and toilet in one chamber and his and hers sinks in the other.

Enjoy a bonfire on the stone patio or down by the dock. A canoe equipped with life jackets, fishing poles and anchor can be used by any guest 18 or older. A vacation at this home will be one that provides your family with many happy memories for years to come.
