This modern, eco-friendly home has been featured in numerous publications, including the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Magazine, Chicago Dream Homes, Natural Home and Coastal Living.  Designed by Evanston architect Nathan Kipnis and completed in July, 2006, this home offers total comfort with access to a beautiful sandy beach on Lake Michigan.  The home was designed with the fabulous view of Lake Michigan in mind.  The setting is wooded with seating on a private deck.  Alternate seating in a screened-in porch offers views of the sunrise over Lake Michigan.  An upstairs loft with a balcony gives spectacular views of the Sturgeon Bay Ship Canal North Pierhead Light.  A short walk north on the beach reveals a small park and a view of the Sturgeon Bay Ship Canal Lighthouse, located in the U.S. Coast Guard station.  The home is approximately a ten to fifteen minute drive from downtown Sturgeon Bay for shopping or dining and less than half an hour from Potawatomi State Park, which features hiking and biking trails on over 1200 acres of gently rolling terrain bordered by steep slopes and rugged limestone cliffs.
