This charming modified A frame cottage has it all! Located in Jacksonport on the desirable south shore of Kangaroo Lake, this quiet cove allows for privacy, yet is centrally located to sites and shopping throughout the Door Peninsula.
Set in a wooded area, there is a nice yard to enjoy lawn games. A dock with a ladder allows for easy access into the warm, shallow waters of Kangaroo Lake for swimming and other water activities. Catch native minnows right off the dock for fishing.
This newly updated cottage offers a completely accessorized kitchen, along with an energy-efficient washer and dryer. The wood burning fireplace in the living room can take the chill out of the air on crisp Door County evenings.
The downstairs bedroom has a full bed. The upstairs loft can sleep up to three; with a twin bed and a twin trundle combination which can be opened to create a king bed, or left as two twin beds.
You will not run out of areas to relax, read and enjoy the lake. Settle in on the dock or decks, or in the newly built three-season sunroom which is furnished with comfortable wicker. Combination windows and doors (with screens) allow for the enjoyment of lake breezes while listening to the sounds of nature.
For the grand finale to a wonderful Door County day, roast marshmallows over the backyard fire pit and watch a peaceful sunset over Kangaroo Lake.
